First Aid
This course will provide students with the basic and general first aid knowledge needed to perform emergency work in high-risk situations.
Who is it for?
This course is intended for individuals who wish to acquire basic and general first aid knowledge, as well as for company personnel assigned high-risk tasks.
What are the objectives of the Course?
- Acquire basic and general knowledge of first aid.
- Be trained to handle emergency situations such as loss of consciousness, cardiorespiratory arrest, airway obstruction, hemorrhage, and shock.
- Know how to handle situations considered emergencies, which are those that can wait for medical services to arrive (burns, bruises, fractures, dislocations and sprains, wounds, abdominal, thoracic, neurological and gynecological emergencies, and poisoning in general).
- Promote the importance of worker training and the adoption of preventive measures as work habits.
- Achieving an attitude of worker interest in safety and health

Classes will be delivered using an interactive teaching and
learning methodology.
The course includes theoretical lectures led by the instructor.
Theoretical classes will be instructor-led and based on group work on selected topics, as well as simulations and drills for various types of medical emergencies, adapted to real-life situations.
