Certified course in safety supervision and leadership

The supervisor is the only person who can take immediate and direct action to ensure their work area is safe and healthy for all employees.

This course introduces participants to the key elements that will help them demonstrate “5-STAR” supervision and leadership within the health and safety function:

• Supervision: Overseeing work activities to ensure employee safety.
• Training: Conducting safety education and training.
• Accountability: Ensuring everyone complies with company safety policies and standards.
• Resources: Providing physical resources (tools, equipment, materials, etc.) so employees can work safely.
• Support: Creating a supportive psychosocial work environment (schedules, workloads, recognition, etc.) so employees do not work under excessive stress.

Thanks to this course, supervisors will be able to demonstrate leadership by directly providing employees with the resources, motivation, priorities, and accountability to ensure their health and safety.
