Course objectives
The purpose of this course is for the participant to be able to achieve the following objectives upon completion:
- Identify the 13 general categories of workplace hazards.
- Describe the four main procedures used to identify hazards.
- Be able to discuss the various types of accidents that could result if hazards are not corrected.
- Describe possible engineering and management risk control strategies.
- Be able to discuss various problem-solving techniques to help control hazards.
- Prepare an effective recommendation.
